  • Concentrated active ingredients (CBD+CBDA+terpenes) for maximum absorption and superior relief.
  • Formulated by our board-certified toxicologist and pharmacologist.

Our CBD+CBDA Pain Relief tablets include more active ingredients at higher concentrations than any of our competitors. We include 30mg of CBD + 15mg of CBDA, and the added benefit of our concentrated terpene profile, essential vitamins, and our proprietary herbal blend in each and every tablet. A multi-cannabinoid formulation, which may help relieve systemic pain and inflammation. Available in our trial pack (5 tablets), as well as our 30ct bottle (30 tablets).

Our most advanced tablet yet includes 30mg of cannabidiol (CBD), which is all-natural and may have anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, and analgesic properties. We then include 15mg of cannabidiolic acid (CBDA), which research shows interacts with the endocannabinoid system (ECS) by potentially inhibiting the cyclooxygenase-2 (COX-2) enzyme. The COX-2 enzymes are linked to inflammation following injury or infection, which if inhibited, relieves inflammation and associated pain. Both aspirin and ibuprofen similarly inhibit COX-2 enzymes, however, unlike aspirin and ibuprofen, CBDA can be taken for both acute and chronic pain and inflammation. Prolonged use of both aspirin and ibuprofen can lead to gastrointestinal bleeding, heart attacks, and even strokes.

CBDA is the precursor to CBD, meaning when CBDA is exposed to heat (i.e. decarboxylated), it converts into CBD. Despite this relationship between CBDA and CBD, they are independent cannabinoids, each with their own therapeutic benefits, and are both found in cannabis. Research indicates that CBD is more effective when multiple cannabinoids (such as CBDA), and terpenes are present, which is why we include our proprietary terpene profile in our Pain Relief tablets. Not only do terpenes enhance the effect of CBD and CBDA, but they also provide their own therapeutic benefits.

In addition to CBD, CBDA, and terpenes, our Pain Relief tablets include Palmitoylethanolamide (PEA), which is a fatty acid amide, naturally produced by the body. Fascinatingly, PEA may interact with endocannabinoid system similarly to CBD, particularly in relation to pain and inflammation. PEA was first discovered in 1957, however, it was not used as a potential anti-inflammatory or analgesic till the late 70’s. In 1975, a clinical trial in Czechoslovakia compared the analgesic properties of aspirin to that of PEA, and found both compounds enhanced joint movements and decreased pain.

If we only included the compounds previously listed, our Pain Relief tablet would be more effective than any other cannabinoid-based product on the market today, but we also include quercetin, curcumin, and green tea polyphenols – all of which may help with inflammatory issues, as well as vitamin C (antioxidant; protects cells from free radicals) and vitamin D (supports the immune system, brain, and nervous system).

Research indicates that inflammation in the body and anxiety can manifest through multiple ailments and symptoms. Although CBD is all-natural and potentially an anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, analgesic, and anti-anxiety, it is only one of the many plant-based, active ingredients that we include in our products (see full ingredients list for more information). We aren’t just creating CBD products. Instead, our staff toxicologist and pharmacologist is formulating the most effective, 100% plant-based remedies available on the market today.

Ingredients & Directions

Ingredients: Microcrystalline cellulose, magnesium stearate, silica dioxide, dicalcium phosphate, cannabidiol (CBD), cannabidiolic acid (CBDA), proprietary terpene profile, palmitoylethanolamide (PEA), quercetin, green tea polyphenols, vitamin C, vitamin D, vitamin B3, vitamin B9, vitamin B12, omega-3 fatty acids, curcumin.
Quantity per packet: 5 tablets, 5 day supply
Quantity per bottle: 30 tablets, 30 day supply
Directions: For managing chronic pain or inflammation, take one (1) tablet every 4-6hrs for five days with a small amount of food (increases absorption). If issues persist, take two (2) tablets every 4-6hrs for five more days. Increase the number of times taken per day, every five days, until the desired effect is achieved. Once a systemic dose has been established, you can decrease the amount of tablets/times taken per day to a maintenance dose. For acute pain, take 1-2 tablets as needed, every 4-6hrs. CBD and CBDA interacts with each body differently, so there is a bit of guesswork as you establish your personalized dose for your specific pain and/or inflammatory issue.  Click here for more information>>>

Pinched a nerve in my back over the weekend, and have been using these tablets with your professional strength balm. These last few days, both products have really helped loosen up my back. Great stuff, thanks.

  6. Doug P.

I wake-up achy just about every morning. I don’t want to take Advil every day, so I’ve mostly just put up with it. I’ve been taking one of your tablets every night before bed, and man – what a difference. I don’t know what you guys are doing over there, but keep it up!

FAQs for Rx Remedies

Cannabidiol (CBD) is one of the 100+ cannabinoids naturally produced by the cannabis plant (FYI, hemp is also considered “cannabis”). CBD is highly therapeutic, non-addictive, and non-intoxicating. Cannabinoids (like CBD) act on receptors found throughout the body, allowing for its therapeutic benefits.

The minuscule glands of the hemp plant that excrete cannabinoids (like CBD) also produce terpenes, which are what give cannabis its distinct aroma. Terpenes are not exclusive to cannabis, and can be found throughout nature. In addition to providing cannabis with its unique scent, terpenes also have their own therapeutic benefits. And when you combine cannabinoids and terpenes, their therapeutic properties our compounded, thanks to their synergistic relationship.

Full-spectrum oil is the closest to whole plant medicine. It includes all of the cannabinoids, terpenes, and flavonoids naturally found in the hemp plant. This includes THC, but only a 0.3%, which is not enough to cause intoxication. Broad-spectrum oil is similar to full-spectrum oil, except that it does not include the cannabinoid, THC. Isolate is the isolated molecule of CBD. Isolate is not an oil, but a fine, white powder, comprised of 99% CBD, 0% THC.

Terpenes are aromatic molecules, excreted from the minuscule glands of the cannabis plant. Terpenes provide cannabis (and other plants) with their pungent scents, and they attract pollinators, while repelling pests and herbivores. They have also been used in beauty and pharmaceutical products for centuries due to their highly therapeutic benefits. Not only do terpenes have their own medicinal properties, but research shows when cannabinoids (like CBD) and terpenes are combined, their medicinal benefits are compounded, due to their synergistic relationship. Roughly 200 different terpenes have been found in cannabis, however only a few are worth mentioning, as only concentrations above 0.05% are considered of pharmaceutical interest.

CBD is non-psychoactive, meaning you cannot get stoned or high from using it. THC is the psychoactive cannabinoid found in cannabis that makes the user feel “stoned”. The majority of our products are made with full-spectrum oil, meaning THC is present, but only at the legal limit of 0.3% (which is not enough to make the user feel intoxicated). We use full-spectrum oil in the majority of our products because research shows CBD is more effective when THC is present, due to their synergistic relationship. As a comparison, most marijuana strains have at least 15% THC, so comparatively, our products have 45x less THC than found in marijuana.

There are two different types of cannabinoids. There are endocannabinoids, which are naturally occurring in the human body. And there are phytocannabinoids, which are produced by the cannabis plant. CBD, THC, CBN, CBG are all examples of phytocannabinoids (often referred to as simply “cannabinoids”). Cannabinoids are molecules that bind to and activate different receptors in cells.

Our CBD and other minor cannabinoids are all grown in the United States on independent American farms in NC, VA, and southern CA, and then extracted in NC following cGMP guidelines. Additionally, our extracted cannabinoids are:

  • GMP certified
  • Kosher
  • Vegan
  • Gluten-free
  • Non-GMO
  • Sustainably-made

Our supplier of cannabinoid extracts sends samples to third party labs to test for pesticides, herbicides, heavy metals, and other toxins. Once the approved extracts arrive at our facility in Baltimore, MD, we test them again, using a third party facility, to confirm their results. We also test for pesticides, toxins, heavy metals, as well as the terpene profile, and THC/CBD potency. Once the extracts are cleared for use, we formulate our various products, and then test one final time to ensure each products includes the advertised concentration.

Our cannabinoid extractions are made using the cryo-ethanol method due to its efficiency, safety, and purity. Our provider also recycles and reuses over 90% of their ethanol to ensure sustainability. The extracted oil is further winterized (i.e. lipids, fats, and waxes are removed), as those components can decrease the purity of the extraction.

Our hemp-derived cannabinoids are grown using organic practices, however not all products that we formulate are vegan-friendly. Namely, our dog treats are beef-based and our topicals include beeswax. However, our tinctures, tablets, gummies, and roll-ons are all vegan-friendly.

The entourage effect is the relationship that naturally exists between cannabinoids and terpenes. It means that no one terpene or cannabinoid is as therapeutic as the sum of their parts. In other words, CBD on its own (as an isolate) is not as therapeutically effective as when combined with other cannabinoids (especially THC) and terpenes. It is why we prefer full-spectrum oil for our products over an isolate.

The Endocannabinoid System is the collection of receptors that receive cannabinoids produced by both our body (endocannabinoids) and plants (phytocannabinoids). The ECS receptors are responsible for biological and physiological processes such as appetite, pain-sensation, mood, and memory.

Everyone responds to CBD differently, so we can only offer a suggested starting dose as you establish your perfect dose. CBD is non-toxic, but can cause drowsiness if taken in large doses. Suggested dosing can be found on each product page under the “Ingredients & Directions” tab. You can also click here for more information on establishing your CBD dose.

Yes, as of December 2018, hemp-derived CBD is protected under the Farm Bill Act of 2018. For more information on CBD legality, you can visit our page by clicking here.
